Renard Scott is a 2024 CDC Public Health Associate working with AIM. As a public health associate, he supports initiatives that strengthen immunization programs and improve public health responses at both state and local levels.
Renard is a U.S. Coast Guard veteran with a diverse background in healthcare, including roles that have sharpened his skills in emergency response and patient care. While serving in the Coast Guard, he gained valuable experience in public health surveillance and emergency preparedness, which now informs his work in immunization management. Renard’s public health interests include enhancing vaccine outreach, bolstering community resilience, and improving health equity across underserved populations.
