As the Chief Medical Officer, Michelle Fiscus, MD, FAAP, leads AIM’s CDC-funded project to improve COVID-19 vaccination rates in children under 5 years and helps inform AIM’s products, strategies, and policies.
Dr. Fiscus is a board-certified pediatrician and former medical director of Tennessee’s Vaccine-Preventable Diseases and Immunization Program. Dr. Fiscus received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Indiana University and completed her residency in pediatrics at the James Whitcomb Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis. Dr. Fiscus recently completed a 4-year term on the American Academy of Pediatrics Board of Directors and has served on workgroups for the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.
