Understanding DEI Terms/Definitions Webinar

On August 31, 2021, AIM, Klapperich International Training Associates (KITA) and People Strategies Hawai’i facilitated the first session of a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion webinar series. This session provided a foundational understanding of terms, such as: diversity, equality, equity, inclusion, racism, access, health equity, health disparities, systemic racism, and social determinants of health. Participants were equipped with a definition of each of these terms and an understanding around these terms’ relationship to each other.
