View a video narrative collaboratively created by Penn State REACH and Natasha Peralta, a “trusted messenger” and recently pregnant mother. The video delivers accurate COVID-19 vaccine information to her peers. Penn State REACH’s pilot study suggested the effectiveness of pregnant and postpartum mothers who share their stories about why they got the COVID-19 vaccine to protect themselves and their baby. Penn State REACH created this and four other video narratives. Each featured pregnant or lactating mothers describing positive COVID-19 vaccine experiences alongside negative COVID-19 illness experiences.
