View Spanish-language and English-language billboard images created by Penn State REACH to deliver accurate flu and COVID-19 vaccination information to communities through trusted messengers. Featured front and center on the billboards, local “celebrities” (i.e., community champions) told their “why” for getting the flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Penn State REACH identified these community champions through extensive community outreach, engagement, and trust-building activities. As a result of the We Got a Shot/Yo Me Vacune campaign, every day people saw the billboards throughout their counties and went up to the community champions to ask them more about the vaccines.
