National REACH Coalition Webinar

Changing the Paradigm: Who Tells Our Story Shapes Our Destiny

The National REACH Coalition (NRC) in collaboration with Arizona Telemedicine Program at the Southwest Telehealth Resource Center and the Department of Health Promotion Sciences at the University of Arizona’s Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and the National COVID-19 Resiliency Network invites you to join us for Part 2 of the African-American focused webinar.

Historically, in America, African American, Latinx, Native American, Asian American Pacific Islander, and Alaskan Native communities have fought to have their stories told by themselves and not by others outside their communities.

This work to prevent the muting of their true history and their experience is critical to protect against an inauthentic and incorrect narrative that not only seeks to reshape the perception of the past but to shape the community’s current and future prospects and well-being. These last three years of COVID have shone a harsh spotlight making painfully clear this threat.
