Manuscript: A survey of state and local practices encouraging pediatric COVID-19 vaccination of children ages 6 months through 11 years

In early 2022, AIM held a series of listening sessions with CDC and program managers to understand the landscape of the national pediatric COVID-19 vaccination program for children ages five years and older and to prepare for anticipated COVID-19 vaccination program for children ages six months through 4 years. In AIM’s first collaborative article with CDC, this manuscript highlights state and local practices optimizing the pediatric COVID-19 vaccination program for children ages six months through 11 years. Practices were identified across several categories, including provider-focused practices, school-based practices, jurisdiction or health department-based activities, community-focused practices involving partners, use of vaccination incentives, and Medicaid-related practices.
