The second Learning Collaborative discussion took place on November 13. The goal of this ongoing collaboration is to increase the capacity of jurisdictions to equitably protect infants from serious illness and death due to RSV. Through understanding the challenges to birthing hospital participation in the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program and sharing promising practices, the collaborative hopes to increase birthing hospital participation in the VFC program and help to ensure that every newborn has the opportunity to be protected from RSV disease.
The objectives for this second call included understanding how replacement models have been successfully implemented in birthing hospitals to improve VFC program participation.
This discussion featured speakers from Utah, Virginia, and New York State.
