Jim Daniel, coordinator of public health innovation for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer, Department of Health and Human Services, spoke to the AIM IIS Committee and AIM members about opportunities for the advancement of IIS supported by HHS. The first project is an ongoing project promoting data sharing between IIS across jurisdictional boundaries. The second project allows large multi-jurisdictional providers to send data to multiple IIS through a single interface. The third project enables consumer access to IIS data. These projects take advantage of the same basic infrastructure called Immunization Gateway. AIM members can direct questions to Jim Daniel at [email protected].
