International HPV Awareness Day 2022

March 4 is International HPV Awareness Day.

AIM partnered with the International HPV Vaccination Roundtable to produce a video detailing the importance of HPV vaccination featuring pediatrician Dr. Nicole Baldwin and HPV cancer survivor Kimberly Williams.

This awareness day is a time to recognize both the progress we’ve made against HPV cancers and the work we still must do. During the pandemic, many teens and pre-teens have fallen behind on getting HPV and other routine vaccinations. Without the HPV vaccine, these young people are at risk for HPV-related cancers later in life.
