South Carolina: Hepatitis A Prevention Initiative

South Carolina has taken on a Hepatitis A prevention initiative to vaccinate those adults with the Hepatitis A vaccine who fall into a high-risk category: drug users, homeless, current/recently incarcerated and/or men who have sex with men.  The immunization program is working with partners to vaccinate against Hepatitis A, targeting the top counties in the state with the highest population and highest rates of drug users and homelessness.
