Alaska: Language Access

Alaska Department of Health partnered with the Alaska Public Interest Research Group and Native Peoples Action Community Fund to translate COVID-19 messaging into 7 Alaska Native languages. Various indigenous community members met with medical professionals who answered common questions about COVID-19 and created culturally appropriate messaging for their communities. These materials can be ordered for free through the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium.
