The number of vaccine-related bills in state legislatures across the country has already surpassed the total number encountered during all of last year (406 effective bills).
AIM is currently tracking 382 vaccine-related bills with potential implications for immunization programs; this number is on track to exceed last year’s volume.
This guide is designed to equip AIM members and their staff with the necessary tools and information to engage with elected officials appropriately during the legislative session.
As of January 24, AIM is monitoring over 280 vaccine-related bills with potential implications for immunization programs.
As of January 10, 26 states’ legislative sessions have commenced, which will grow to 43 states over the next week.
