Annual Influenza Update Webinar (AIM)

Prepare for the upcoming influenza season with AIM’s Annual Influenza Update webinar on Wednesday, September 18, from 12-1 pm ET. This webinar will feature:

• Dr. Michelle Fiscus, chief medical officer at AIM, who will provide the latest trends related to the influenza virus, updates related to this year’s vaccine and ACIP recommendations, and effective communication strategies.
• Dr. Litjen (L.J.) Tan, chief policy and partnerships officer from Immunize.org  and the National Adult and Influenza Immunization Summit (NAIIS), who will give an update on the work of the NAIIS and outcomes of this year’s summit.
• Dr. Jamilia Sherls, director of the office of immunization at the Washington State Department of Health, who will share programmatic best practices and plans for the upcoming influenza vaccine season.
